Eltoprazine is a selective serotonin receptor agonist and antagonist that has been studied for its potential therapeutic applications in various neurological and psychiatric disorders, 5-HT1A, 5-HT1B, and 5-HT2B receptors (Kis = 40, 52, and 81 nM, respectively). Eltoprazine has shown potential in reducing aggression and impulsive behavior in certain psychiatric disorders, including intermittent explosive disorder and aggression associated with developmental disorders. It has also been investigated as a potential treatment for ADHD and Tourette syndrome.
