DESCRIPTION

3T3-L1 cells are a cell line derived from immortalized mouse embryonic fibroblasts. 3T3 cells are widely used in life science research, providing a cell model useful for the study of cell cycle control, primary cilia and adipose physiology. When undergoing differentiation, they become rounded and fill with lipid droplets which are easily observed under low power magnification. AkrivisBio’s 3T3-L1 Differentiation Kit provides the reagents needed to make 100 ml of differentiation medium and 600 ml of maintenance medium, enough for 12 of 100 mm culture dishes.
